Just My Luck i'm in the middle of the wee hours, & i simply refuse to go to bed... my eyes hurt even when i'm wearin my specs instead of contact lens... i felt tired physically but not mentally... & there's sch tomolo! my luck was down the day before ytd... i lost my ezlink card while i made my way to meet darl before i went to kallang for NDP prac... tat was when i realised i lost it when darl & i parted... he lent me his card... was sad la... had to take id photos again & most of all, waste money! feel like hittin myself to a wall... smart alec... dun wanna put card into wallet la... hope this will teach me a lesson... once bitten twice shy... can i use this idiom for this kind of incident?! lol i almost squashed a small bullfrog on a heavy rainy day... LUCK INCIDENT 1 yet, i can count myself lucky ytd... boarded the bus to darl's hse to return his card... the bus attendant board the bus after a stop or 2... scared the sh*t out of me... i swear i was like an ant on a hot stove... nervous, cold sweat & wished i could jus get down the bus before he came to me... but too bad~ we'r in the middle of the xpressway -.- i used darl's card & the last tot i had in my mind is pray or i'm a goner... darl will hav to follow me to replace a new card together... lol~ but guessed wat... close shave shei... really close... double WHEW! he turned over the card but his thumb covered the photo! i held my breath & my heart kind of stopped for a sec la... thank god! LUCK INCIDENT 2 i was kindof late le... & was rushin for work... yet i jus got down the bus & i wasn't even near darl's blk... saw bus 63 left frm the oppo busstop... GEEZ~ = so i had to walk all the way to my destination... under the blazin sun, started to sweat... my last tot here was tat i'm goin to be late... gosh when i finally reached his blk... i searched for his letterbox... couldn't find... was like every unit also hav only his... wierd la... carefully scannin thru again & again, i eventually found it... it's at the bottom... believe it or not, once i pop the card into the box, the bus arrived at the busstop tat was jus infront of me... LOL! to me, it's a miracle... & i wasn't late for work... hurray! LUCK INCIDENT 3 i worked as a bride's maid more than a waitress tonite... most of the time i'm lifting up the bride's long gown & puttin it down nicely again... doin the same thing over & over again... gah! tirin sia... it's a japanese couple weddin... & the bride's pregnant for let's say 4-5 mths? the function was a small one yet fun... the guests were spontaneous with the games & activities they had organised... cool la! their weddin cake, 3 layers of strawberry cake... *heaven~ taste nice la... but i din get to eat the main course... *curse... my beef steak... hmph... the main point here is tat... we end work at 12am but our vouchers were signed off at 1230am... 3 bucks xtra! cool! once in a lifetime treat shei! ^^ happyhappy... 3bucks also money ok... can buy 3 chicken wings =X |
