I've been rubbing my eyes for the past 10mins. I'm refusing to sleep when i have to wake up at 9am later for work at 11am. 'Just' got home from work, actually an hour ago. Before reaching home, i told myself i need to go to bed once i wash up. Instead, i switched on the modem and turned on the laptop. I don't even know if i can wake up on time later. Ha! Baby's out of town till Sunday night. Waaa~ But lucky i'm occupied with work these couple of days. If not, it's just the usual routine at home, with the wallet empty, TV, com & bully ah bee. Later on, will be the 'last' day at CHIJMES. No functions until June. For now, there's no events booked on the month of April and May. The more i need to find another job! I'm so going down to this so called premium pub & wine lounge to give it a try. Fortunately i have Lianyin to accompany me =) Wahaha I've gained so much weight since i've graduated. Everytime i'm out of school, i'm sure to binge on food. Maybe not so much of the binging, but the feeding part is enough already! God~ I'm not standing on the 'no-matter-how-much-i-eat,-i'm-bound-to-stay-slim-still' category! Stop tempting me with tasty food. Be it at work, at bee's place or at home. I'm just gonna keep exercising my mouth and not my spare tyre, starting to form around my waist! Apologise if i'm jumping topics, brain's starting to fail me for now. I'm just going to throw in everything which comes into my mind first. First come first serve basis. *wink Anyway, work today was alright. Similar as yesternight. Buffet. Just that yesternight's memorial service buffet. Tonight's Indian Wedding buffet. As usual, we'll always have our own self-declared mini buffet behind the scenes. Okay~ not sooo mini afterall, but still... Cocktail service today was... hmmm i'm not complaining, just couldn't find the right word. It did keep my smile own the whole time. Who wouldn't smile when a small little boy looking up, with a broad smile beaming at you?! And 90% of the guests were actually genuinely smiling to you with their teeth 'coming out to say hello'?? Buffet's supposed to be relaxing for us right? Yet, i feel as though i just covered 2.4km just by walking to and fro from the table i was serving to the buffet line then back again. I'd been doing individual plating service from the maincourse to soup then lastly the dessert. I thought the 'Go-the-Extra-Mile' service was to end right after we serve the maincourse, then the rest would be up to them to get up from their seats and self-service. But couldn't bear to just leave it there when there's 2 elderlys & the bride and grrom sitting on my table, so i continued by serving the soup. I had 10guests and only 2 hands, so common sense would tell you, i served 2 by 2. That's why i'm making trips after trips. After the soup, bride's or groom's mum asked to serve dessert -.-" What more can you do or say, when the motto, 'Customers are always right' is plastered to your mind. No matter how vigorous you curse and swear, there's nothing much you can do bout it. Agree?? Well, i take it as you guys agree. Ha! The bride's brother, who's a handsome young chap, thanked and i'm happy that my hard work's appreciated =D Woohoo~ Anyway, the night of OT ended with everyone with half a bar of battery left in them. I guess that's bout all. I don't know what i should do next week =( But i'll be away on the weekends though. Don't miss me too much... HAHA~ |
